서울 서대문구 이화여대 앞에 자리한 더스퀘어즈(THE SQUARES) 는 갤러리를 중심으로 한 복합문화공간으로, 신진 작가 발굴과 현대미술의 다양성 확산을 핵심 가치로 삼고 있습니다. 더스퀘어즈는 단순한 전시 공간을 넘어, 예술가와 관람객이 자유롭게 소통하고 창의적인 영감을 교류할 수 있는 열린 예술 플랫폼을 지향합니다.
더스퀘어즈 갤러리의 대표는 미국 뉴욕의 School of Visual Arts에서 학부를 마치고, 홍익대학교 대학원에서 석사 학위를 취득한 미술 전문가로서, 한국 미술의 미래를 이끌어갈 우수한 신진 작가들을 발굴하고 그들의 작품을 세계무대에 소개함으로써 한국 문화예술의 가치를 널리 알리는 데 앞장서고 있습니다.

Located in front of Ewha Womans University in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, THE SQUARES is a gallery-centered cultural complex dedicated to discovering emerging artists and expanding the diversity of contemporary art. More than just an exhibition space, THE SQUARES serves as an open platform where artists and audiences can connect, communicate, and share creative inspiration.

The director of THE SQUARES Gallery, who earned a bachelor’s degree from the School of Visual Arts in New York and a master’s degree from Hongik University in Seoul, is devoted to discovering talented new artists who represent the future of Korean art and to promoting the excellence of Korean culture and art on the global stage.
